Dr. Tara Jakubek is a Naturopathic Doctor and Licensed Acupuncturist.


She aspires to combine her knowledge of Naturopathic and Chinese medicine to educate and guide patients in achieving optimal health. Her areas of focus include, but are not limited to: women’s health,  fertility optimization, autoimmunity, and GI Health.


After her own diagnosis with multiple autoimmune conditions in her teenage years, Dr. Jakubek learned that true healing is individualized, holistic, and addresses the root cause. She is a big proponent for advocating for your own health, as there is no one else that knows your body more than you do. She creates personalized plans that include lifestyle and nutrition modifications, herbal/supplemental additions, along with mindset shifts, and utilizes modalities such as acupuncture, e-stim, and cupping.


Dr. Jakubek obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biology degree from Loyola University of Chicago and further completed a Master in Acupuncture and Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine from National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois.


Dr. Jakubek is bilingual and can offer services in Polish.

If your fertility journey includes assisted reproductive technology such as IVF and IUI, Dr. Jakubek is knowledgeable in supporting you physically and emotionally during treatments. Acupuncture is often recommended as combined therapy with ART to improve egg and sperm quality parameters, endometrial lining thickness, blood flow to the uterus, implantation outcomes and increase pregnancy and live birth rates.
